THE CONTEXT

Size: 150,000 m3/day
Client: Paris Water (SAGEP)
One of the largest units in Europe using ultrafiltration by membrane. The specifications of this drinking water production plant, built by OTV, required SODIMATE to bring to bear its experience in the design and installation for the storage, metering and transport of powdered reagents, slurry preparation (water and powdered activated carbon), mixers (sludge and quicklime) and sludge conveyors.

TECHNICAL SPECIFICATIONS

2 sets for sludge liming:

• Discharge and metering of quicklime (Stage 1)
• Sludge mixing and transport (stage 2)

Sludge flow rate at centrifuge output 1 m3/hour with dry material content of 20 to 25% Liming at 30% of dry material i.e. at a rate of 20 to 100 kg of quicklime/hour

2 sets for activated carbon:

• Discharge and metering of activated carbon
• Mixing of activated carbon with water

Slurry preparation of 2 x 4000 litres/hour of activated carbon slurry at a concentration of 20 g/l

SITE INSTALLATION

Installation in 2 weeks by 4 people with 1 crane Commissioned by two people

SODIMATE GUARANTEE

Parts and labour guarantee for 2 years from commissioning. Since October 2008, SODIMATE has offered users a 4-years maintenance contract. Please contact our Service Department for details.
