Powder Activated Carbon high shear mixer – SODIMIX

SODIMIX, a new patented dust free high shear mixer system by SODIMATE, features reliable dust collection and efficient wetting systems.

The Wetting system is composed of a plunging pipe connected to the dry feeder outlet chute which stems into the slurry tank. The powder fed into the tank is distributed by shaft driven impellers for premixing. The screw feeder outlet is connected to an air/water filter, itself connected to the water supply eductor.

The suction created by the Venturi system, vacuums out the dust from the screw feeder outlet passing through the filter. At the end of each batching cycle the water supply is directed to the water filter to clean and discharge all residual particles into the slurry tank.

The SODIMIX system can be used in a vast range of slurry applications : lime slurry, PAC slurry, soda ash slurry etc… Its main uses are found in water and waste water, flue gas treatment, mining, steel.
